About Aidan Shingler
Aidan Shingler, creator of the Star Disc, has worked in the field of visual arts for over 30 years. His work is pervaded by signs, symbols, synchronicity and significance. He has exhibited throughout the United Kingdom including:
- Durham Cathedral
- Bournemouth International Conference Centre
- Kent Institute for Art & Design
- Orleans House Gallery, London
His work is included in the permanent collection of the Glasgow Gallery of Modern Art. He was curator of the 1990 Visions exhibition, Royal College of Art. He is the author of One in a Hundred; an exploration of the spiritual and creative potential of ‘schizophrenia’.
